Waiting – A Poem

Waiting for the meeting to begin
Am I in the right room?
My coffee sits in its cup
My stomach flops, feels weak

I am tired.
I have a chocolate bunny
It has a pink nose.
What should I eat first?
The ears?
The nose?
Straight through the middle?

The chocolate bunny trusts me.
It smiles, its paws resting on its
jolly, chocolatey stomach.

It taunts me
Eat me, Lanna, it seems to say
For I am delicious

I wait
The meeting will start soon
I must not be seen
