Beans and Rice

Beans and Rice

Cooked and did dishes today. Hooray!

Overnight I made some Beans & Rice in the Crock Pot. Now my crock pot lid is broken. (By no fault of the beans & rice, mind you. It was pretty old.) And the thing is, I really don’t LIKE beans and rice. As you can see, I had to smother it in cheese and sour cream in order to eat it. Ugh. I ate Beans & Rice for breakfast AND lunch. And I have 12 packaged meals of beans & rice in the freezer. I am hoping my dear hubby likes it MUCH more than I do.

For dinner tonight I made meatloaf and mashed potatoes with a side of french cut string beans. I ate this all with some pickled beets. Sorry, no picture. I was too busy eating it. Very yummy. I have 12 packaged meals of this too: and I would just as soon eat them all, Mwahahahhaha!

Oh, yeah. We watched Argo tonight: great film. Recommend. Was tension filled funny feel-good awesomeness.
