Frigid Saturday

I’m cold right now. And we cleaned our refrigerator today. Therefore it’s a frigid Saturday around here!

I can’t remember the last time we cleaned the fridge. It was a team effort between me and Eddie. We chucked 2.5 garbage bags full of stuff. Stuff from years ago. And now we have plenty of room for more stuff!

(I’m cold because I am in my unheated office and I don’t want to turn on the space heater. Because I’m only going to be in here for a minute. It’s been over a half hour already.)

After the fridge was cleaned we went to the grocery store and got some food. I will be making, for the first time, beans and rice. I’ll do it overnight tonight so we will have some for lunches for the next week. Tomorrow night for dinner I’ll be making meatloaf and mashed potatoes. That will leave lots of leftovers for the next couple of weeks.

We’re trying to economize. Wish us luck!
