And here I am again, blogging down to the wire. Woo hoo. Nothing really to say. I had a fantastic weekend with some people who I love and love to be with, came home to a fabulous husband who helped me carry my bags up the stairs and tucked me into bed when I was ready. Today I worked and had dinner with Edmund and our friend Bryan (and new friend Tiki!) Then we all went out to see a poetry show at the St. Lawrence Arts center, Weaving Conversations in Sky, A celebration of women in poetry. It was a great show. It served as a benefit for a local poet, Sarah Lynn Herklots, who is Portland Maine’s representative to the Women of the World Poetry Slam – funds raised will go toward her trip to Denver in March. All the poets were great, but Sarah rocked the house, and made me cry. In every. poem. she. read. Crazytalk.
Will be going away again THIS coming weekend. To Boskone, a Sci-Fi and Fantasy convention in Boston. Edmund and I go every year. If you’d like to join us, please do so. It’s a great time. The Saturday only pass is $40 bucks – all the Sci-Fi and Fantasy geekery you could ever want. Check out their site, the preliminary schedule is already posted.
