4. Do you feel more relaxed with a group of friends or hanging out by yourself? Depends I guess.

5. What is something that you feel is relaxing but most people don’t? I don’t know. I guess I am pretty normal or something. Really.

Cleaning & Stuff

The futon of Death is now clean!!!!!!!!

ish

I woke up yesterday with a proverbial bee in my bonnet and started tackling this mountain of newspapers and books and clothes. When Edmund woke up, I got him to help.

Then we went to do laundry.

Needless to say we have not done much today.

Ickness Sickness

Edmund and I have been very sick this week.

Edmund more than me.

Feeling better now, but dry. Took some Sudafed-type-derrivative earlier, and some ibuprophren.

I can’t spell and I am too lazy to look things up.

No matter.

BTW, this is awesome, the word of the day today is:

cock-a-hoop \kah-kuh-HOOP\ adjective

*1 : triumphantly boastful : exulting

2 : awry

Example sentence:

Team members, still cock-a-hoop over last week’s victory, need to regain their focus and win one more game for the championship.

Did you know?

The adjective “cock-a-hoop” comes from a curious 16th- and 17th-century expression, “to set cock a hoop,” which meant “to be festive” or “to drink or celebrate without restraint.” Etymologists, however, are not entirely certain about the origin of that old expression. Although no one knows if it originally had any connection with the “rooster” sense of “cock,” many people thought it did — and this perceived association influenced the current meaning of “cock-a-hoop.” The cock is known for its triumphant crow, and “cock-a-hoop” is now used to refer to something triumphantly boastful.

Friday Five

1. Do you live in a house, an apartment or a condo? Railroad Apartment, 6th Floor — last night the elevator was broken

2. Do you rent or own? I rent

3. Does anyone else live with you? Edmund, my sweetie. Hunter “Socks” Thompson. Other roommates.

4. How many times have you moved in your life? 22

5. What are your plans for this weekend? Spending my weekend with my lovely fiancee & his family in New Jersey. I am actually there now!

Getting Stuff Done

Yeah! I am feeling very productive here, working on my one-woman show. Have decided I am going to try to perform it at Rites of Spring this year.

Edmund is yelling at the tv. Something about war and bush.

Not the good kind.

He just took a break and gave me a kiss. Now he is flabbergasted again and talking to the tv again.

So tired

Saw Secret Window tonite. Very disapointed.

Why did they change THE PLOT? (Secret Window was based on a Stephen King Novella).

Edmund HATED it. So much we had a bit of a disagreement.

All is better now.

Saw American Idol when we got home, Jennifer Hudson & George Huff & Fantasia are the best! & I am jealous that I cannot be on Idol.

Freakin’ Cold

What is up, I thought it was April. Spring. Or something!

Gah!

The super FINALLY turned on the heat, after our second call. But still has not warmed up in here yet.

If you live in a warm place, I hate you.

Really.

New Improv group

I am rehearsing with my new improv group: Colonel Funnington’s Comedy Tonic. We will be working on longish form type musicals. Webpage is up, but has not been updated in a while. Will give link when it is updated. We will be very funny–I am having fun, anyway.

Okay, these pix are very cute.

Me with Hunter in November and again last night– see how much bigger he is! Very cute

I will posting my musings here only from now on…

I guess that will be cool.

Not sure what I am going to do with my sockpuppetmania.com blog though.

Any suggestions…

Edmund’s Injury

So, if you were curious about what Ed’s ouchy arm looks like, go here.

Not for the fainthearted.
