Thirsty Thursday

I am not really a drinker, so the title of this post is a misnomer. I am, however, surrounded by beverages and beverage containers. Making iced tea at work (one cup at a time). Empty coffee cups (one that needs to be washed, another that’s clean.)

Tonight I will be preparing for a weekend away by making some more iced tea. I will be making at least 1 half-gallon, maybe 2, as I will be bringing 2 half-gallons with me. I found that I can’t wait too long to drink the tea because when you make your own iced tea (without preservatives) it can go rogue in about a week. For instance when I came back from vacation (after been away for a week, and not drinking the tea for 5/7 days), the tea had a definite off-taste. Like it was fermenting or something. A touch moldy. Gross.

Here’s to non-moldy iced tea, huzzah!
