47 Years

47 Years ago today my parents, Walter Marshall Maheux and Dottie May Melia, tied the knot, becoming Walter and Dottie (or Dottie and Walter depending on who you talk to).

Last year, as most of you know, my Dad passed away, after 45 (almost 46) years of marriage. Let’s call it 46. We all hoped for many more years, but it wasn’t meant to be.

Today my thoughts are with my Mom, who is doing well, keeping busy, and remembering that Dad would want her to be happy.
