Chris Brogan is a consultant and best-selling author, and I follow him on many channels. Every year, he picks three words to help him navigate the year.
I am not sure I’ve published my three words before, I think I did it for 2014 (because I found a post talking about my planning it.)
As Chris Explains:
Pick any three words that will guide you in the choices you intend to make for 2016. They should be words that let you challenge yourself as to motives and decisions. They should be words that help you guide your actions.
My year, I am going back to basics. Getting grounded and ready for the next step. I have a new job that I love, and want excel at it. So time to focus (as well as I can).
My 3 words are: Work. Play. Love.
My life’s work, my geeky day job, my spirit work. All the work. Just working it out.
Don’t forget to play and have fun. To sing. To create.
Unconditional love. For myself, for my husband, my family, my friends, heck: the world.
Ready for 2016!
I wrote my three words on January 3rd, and intended on posting about it then, but I forgot. Then I lost my post-it by putting it in my journal so I wouldn’t lose it.
Today the post-it was found. I guess that means I’m ready.
