Salad in a Jar Day Five!

Salad in a Jar Day Five!
[Sorry about the thumb there. That is where I shredded my thumb while I was shredding beets. Yay.]

I’ve been so good with the posting of the blog blag posts, haven’t I? I haven’t punked out (really) in about a month. [Punking out consists of me writing three lines or something like that.]

There are so many things I want to write about. But I don’t want to think about any one of them long enough to actually write the blag post.

  • Boston Phoenix Closing: I worked for the Boston Phoenix and Phoenix Media between 1998 and 2002, in the Tele-Publishing, Inc. call center and at the Phoenix as a Credit/Collections rep. Loved working there.
  • Meeting Author Colleen Hover tomorrow: Edmund and I are driving to Boston to meet Colleen Hoover at a writer’s event. Colleen has written some books we love and she asked Edmund if she could feature one of his poems in her second book, Point of Retreat. This will be our first time meeting in person!
  • This article/podcast from the Social Media Examiner, Becoming a Blogger: Do you have what it takes? Ah, Duh. All you need is a BLOG (which you can do for free at blogger.com or wordpress.com) and then you WRITE in it. That is ALL IT TAKES to be a blogger. Sheesh.
  • Salad in a Jar: I will post about this later, was a success. Think I might do 5 days for lunch next week, just to see what happens. I live on the edge, people.
  • Co-hosting with Jiggy Jaguar: looks like I’ll be co-hosting with the Jiggy Jaguar Experience for three Sundays in April. It’s a live internet radio show. I’ll give you more details as it gets closer.

Blogging is easy. It’s just a place to write. And don’t expect anything more than that.
